Utnordr Drengr was first founded under a different banner during the trials and tribulations of the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020. A few of the first members were brought together by our love of all things bearded and viking. Promoting a viking brand of beard care, eventually we came together as a clan. Since the founding grounds, some of us from the North West UK decided we needed to take our own path, and from then on, we became the Utnordr Drengr.

Our Story

From where we started, as a clan we decided to go two steps further than any other. we all know without our better halves, not many of us get to do all the things we would like. what if I told you that, if you want the involvement of a person, you bring in their family. That way, nobody is left out. We brought in our significant others and gave them just as much to look forward to as any of the male members, and we even get our offspring involved. the Valkyries and the Ungr have come to form such an important part in our clan, its hard to believe we didnt do it sooner.

we are a family society that help each other out, support one another when its needed and pull out all the stops to make sure every member feels included and valued.

as our recruiter call it, this is no club or brotherhood, it is a familyhood based around old norse culture. but you dont have to be a viking to get involved. we also pride ourselves on multi-faith involvement. some of us a heathen, celt, christian, brythonic and druidic, and we provide insights to each path if you ever want to learn.

we have a discord server where we meet and chat as well as share ideas, hobbies and interests among other things. we hold virtual moots via zoom, and when restrictions allow, there will be plenty of physical moots to get to know each other and enjoy the company of like-minded people.
