Recycle, Re-use, Re-purpose and Rustic Recovery
The Twisted Viking
Who are we?
Twisted Viking is a Heathen and Veteran run smithing, fabrication and metalwork not-for-profit workshop that focuses on recycling, reusing and re-purposing scrap and salvaged metal into sculptures, wearables, tools and blades. we do not buy new materials to make our products reducing our carbon footprint. We also provide bespoke wood carvings, sculptures and chainmail jewelry and outfits to fit.
We have recently took on a new venture of providing Heathen God Posts that can be disassembled and transported easily for a portable Ve. even the timber we use is resourced from voluntary woodland and agricultural work we carry out to help land owners struggling in the current climate. Work is mostly undertaken using hand tools where possible and all materials are traceable and fully sustainable.. The timber used is taken from trees marked for felling to enable native broad leaves and meadowland to flourish.
lastly, when restrictions allow, we will be planning to hold taster days and workshops for anybody who would like to learn survivalist blacksmithing in hope it will help people with mental and physical rehabilitation through activity and purpose. we have dubbed this process as Rustic Recovery.
